Day 1: 

Deep Breathing Exercises

Welcome to Day 1 of our 10-day relaxation journey. Today, we’re starting with something simple but incredibly effective—deep breathing exercises. Deep breathing helps calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and bring you into the present moment.

Exercise:

  • Find a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed. Sit or lie down comfortably.
  • Close your eyes and place one hand on your chest and the other on your abdomen.
  • Inhale slowly through your nose, feeling your abdomen rise as you fill your lungs with air. Your chest should move very little.
  • Hold your breath for a count of four.
  • Slowly exhale through your mouth, feeling your abdomen fall as you release the air.
  • Repeat this process for 5-10 minutes, focusing on the rhythm of your breath and letting go of any tension with each exhale.
This exercise can be done anytime you feel stressed or anxious, helping to bring about a state of calm.
