Exercise:
- Sit or lie down in a comfortable position. Close your eyes.
- Imagine yourself in a peaceful, calming place. This could be a beach, forest, or any location where you feel relaxed.
- Engage all your senses: feel the warmth of the sun, hear the gentle waves, smell the fresh air, and see the vibrant colors around you.
- Spend 10-15 minutes immersing yourself in this scene, letting your body and mind relax.
Guided imagery can be a powerful tool to escape from stress and anxiety, providing a mental break whenever you need it.
